"RARE PATTERN" 8 PLACE SETTINGS + SERVING SET (59 TOTAL PIECES + NAKEN'S tarnish proof storage chest) Up for Auction is a big and beautiful 54 Piece Wallace Sterling Silver Flatware set in the Premier Pierced Heavyweight 1956 Pattern: ORCHID ELEGANCE (STRLNG, 1956), with a tarnish proof Nakens Chest. The pieces in this original and complete service for 8 are all in excellent condition, no dings, damage or dents, no monograms or removals. Every piece is genuine, original, high quality Wallace Sterling silver with substantial heft and intricate pattern detail with the back of the handle marked Wallace Sterling and a Wallace Hallmark.

I am a private party and this set was received by my parents for their wedding registry. According to my father it was only ever used once or twice. It has been stored in its protective chest since it was purchased new and subsequently given to me as a wedding present. My now ex wife and I never used this set so it has essentially been stored unused since at least 1960! There are 6 pieces per setting and 8 settings total for a total of 48 pieces in the main set. These 48 pieces include the following:

8ea. x Butter Spreader Knife 6 (stainless blade with sterling handle)

1ea. x Flat Handle Master Butter Knife 7 (solid silver)

The postage quoted in the auction is for USPS Insured Priority Mail with either Signature or Delivery Confirmation. The HANDLING charge listed is to cover shipping insurance at the FINAL VALUE auction price however, it is not my intention to profit on postage and I will be happy to refund any postage overage. I would also be happy to ship the flatware without the chest for a substantial savings in postage costs.
