This is a used Sony VGN NR-160E laptop. I work in sales and this has been a very dependable unit for me that has never had any problems other than one battery replacement. It is a great laptop for work or school but if you are looking for a gaming computer this isn't it. The memory was upgraded from 1GB to 4GB but only 3GB of RAM are available because of the 32 bit operating system. Everything is in working order and the battery holds a charge but it is starting to drain pretty quickly. Condition: Overall the unit is in fair to good shape. Everything is in good working condition including all of the keys, the disc drive, ports etc... The monitor is free of scratches. The exterior has a lot of wear marks and one sizable scratch on the top which is clearly visible in the pictures. You can also see the blemish on the right of the mouse which is a wear mark from my hand resting there. The receptacle for the power plug in the back of the unit is a little loose and the plug comes out very easily. The software is the vanilla variety that came with the unit. The keyboard could probably use a good cleaning if you are inclined enough to do so. The power adapter is included but none of the discs that came with it are available. If you want a good solid working laptop at a budget price or if you want to part this out than this is a good choice.
